All photos were taken from a Nokia N82 and in a moving car so don't expect perfection.

Plus I'm not into the whole photography business.

After this I went to my local pub

not really local but I frequent it alot so i suppose that warrants a local title.

Played darts, snooker, and pub games

1vs 100 is addictive

Today was a terrible day for consumerism

Ah alas after 3 coats of paint I had realised why the "glossy" effect fabled from Wilkinsons spray Lacquer paint wasn't quite looking the part, the spray paint was not a Lacquer, in the small print it had said Lacquer effect.

The day had started badly anyway, the jeans I had ordered from Topman were a size too small, which in itself is a good thing meaning I am finally the 32 inch waist I have been longing for.

So now I need to remove the fake paint from the guitar and buy new spray paint from Halfords!
(car spray paint is the RIGHT spray paint.)

so expect the new guitar results on Saturday.

Summer, The life and death of a guitar and uni preperations.

My original plans consisted of recreating the fender telecaster that I had recently acquired for £50 at a charity shop in my local village, however after a new paint job, cheap pick up and a cheap neck I decided to postpone it. This was because I had found my original guitar that was bought for me when i was about fourteen, this was an Ibanez GAX 30, a cheap but amazing starter guitar, the guitar was badly damaged on the sides so after an extensive sanding down I managed to get it down to this..

The masking tape was a painful process getting all the nooks and crannys, however after about thirty minuites it was done, I took the guitar outside to spray paint unfortunatley the weather in Birmingham is miserable.

However I perservered and placed an umberella outside.

the first coat wet;

(Remember kids, remember to place cardboard up, I forgot, this messed up the wall and after had to hose it down)

After an hour and a half the coat was dry;

So the second coat dryed and at Nine thirty PM it was getting dark, luckily there are lights in the garden;

Photobucket

Still fairly dull white so had to apply it again.
